Best Way to Start a Meeting

How many of you hate meetings? Well, I used to hate them at times. I had a lot of work to do, and meetings took away time from that. However, think about the energy you bring to the meeting? If you think it is going to suck or is a waste of time, how will it affect the meeting? How will it affect you?

It drains your energy even if you don't speak during it because it causes stress and annoyance in your mind. Change doesn't happen overnight. But if you start with small changes like this and go in with a different attitude, then you will see changes occur in the long run. Try it out.

Also, even if you are not in a business setting, this will help. If you are a teacher and have a meeting with a parent or a chef having a discussion on a new menu, wherever you work you are solving problems and collaborating. Changing your perspective on work convos will make your days better, and your work will flourish because of it.
